LATimes on BH Obama

Robin Abcarian, your Monday 28 May 2012 Los Angeles Times article...

... “College transcripts replace birth certificate for Obama detractors” was interesting and well written. It did suggest some points you might be interested in:

“That rationale may strike some as a little flimsy, given that Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review, taught constitutional law, has two bestselling books to his credit and is, at the moment, leader of the free world.”

Is it common for presidents of the Harvard Law Review to never have anything printed there?

His function at University of Chicago was teaching Constitutional law, but his actual position was part-time instructor in Constitutional law. There are two different news fotos of the President in front of his Constitutional Law class, each show on the chalk board behind him the words 'Bush vs Gore', suggesting the question: did he ever talk about anything else?

His two published books were both autobiographies. Winston Churchill wrote only one.

Had this particular leader of the free world been non-black, he would have needed to buy his own bus ticket to Iowa in January 2008. and been lucky to have been met by his own grandmother.

His government experience was limited to 3 terms in the Illinois State Senate, a job whose sole responsibility is to sit at a little desk and wait for his party leader to come around tell him how to vote on the next roll-call.

“He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, which cannot happen with poor grades.”

Your own Los Angeles Times of Thursday 10 June 1999 had an article “Honors Grow Scarcer for Harvard Law Grads” describing changes in the awarding of honors at Harvard University, where previously “76% of Law grads earned honors.” This would have included the President's 1991 graduation.

Biographies of the President often point out his experience as a Community Organizer. In Chicago, Community Organizer is a euphemism for Democrat vote hustler. Every two years you get a list of voters, if everyone on your list casts a ballot, your job is safe. If not, you're not a Community organizer anymore.

One of the President's immediate predecessor's weakness was his outrageous spending. In just his first six years, he ran an average monthly federal deficit of $20 billion. In just his first 31 months, President Obama's average monthly deficit was $120 billion.

You are a fine writer, and I look forward to reading more of your articles.
